Job Description

We’re looking for an independent, flexible multitasker who loves learning new skills. The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team with various activities. Our ideal candidate must be able to learn new tasks and navigate processes in a fast-paced work environment.  Students, recent graduates, or those with experience in an accounting or finance role are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Concur expense, invoice, and travel management
  • Assist with accounts payable
  • Assist with credit card reconciliation
  • Assist with verification and reconciliation of expense reports
  • Assist with monthly closing duties
  • Assist with preparation for annual audit
  • Administrative duties—SharePoint site admin, bank deposits, sending payment confirmations, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by members of the accounting team

Salary

This is a part-time hourly position. Pay range for this position is competitive. 

 

Requirements

  • Student/recent graduate who has taken Accounting/Finance courses
  • Able to work 3 days per week, 24-30 hours per week
  • Extremely detail oriented, organized, and possesses strong analytical skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and handle confidential information
  • Must be able to take direction and perform duties thoroughly and efficiently
  • Must be able to plan work activities and prioritize effectively
