Kristine Sullivan Owiny is a Senior Program Manager at PYXERA Global, where she works with corporate clients on the design, implementation, and management of Global Pro Bono projects.
Before joining PYXERA Global, Kristine spent nearly a decade in Uganda managing education and entrepreneurship programs for nonprofit organizations and, most recently, with a social enterprise working to enable Uganda’s tech ecosystem. Kristine began her career as a high school teacher in Los Angeles, California. She focused on supporting her students to reach their fullest potential in the classroom and through immersive volunteer opportunities as the Director of Community Service. Throughout her professional career, Kristine has remained dedicated to authenticity and transparency to build a more empathetic and equitable corner of the world.
Kristine holds a BA in History from College of the Holy Cross, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University, and a Master of Arts in Global Development and Social Justice from St. John’s University.
