Samantha Shimer is a Monitoring and Evaluation Associate at PYXERA Global. In this role, she supports the organization’s Global Pro Bono practice area.
Prior to joining PYXERA Global, Samantha served as a Global Philanthropy Fellow at the Grameen Foundation where her focus included the monitoring and evaluation of a domestic violence program based in Delhi, India. Outside of the M&E space, Samantha has a background in nonprofit fundraising and has worked for nonprofit organizations focused on women’s reproductive health.
Samantha holds a BA in International Relations from West Virginia University and a MA in Public Policy from the University of Maryland. She also has a diverse background in academic research spanning the areas of education policy, post-colonialism, and human migration.
