Project Manager, Consultant EMEA

About This Role

Pyxera Global will be managing a virtual Global Pro Bono program scheduled to take place from February to July 2024. Pyxera Global would like to hire a part-time program manager currently residing in the EMEA region to provide project management and logistical support to the selected team of corporate employees who will provide pro bono consulting services to EMEA regional social sector organizations. Pyxera Global is looking for a consultant with project management experience and a professional network related to, but not limited to digital inclusion, circular economy, climate change (air quality, water quality, renewable energy), workforce development, and/or STEM education. Pyxera Global may consider working with the selected candidate for up to 3 years if and when programs take place that align with qualifications.

 

The selected program manager’s main responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Project Development & Implementation

  • Identify and select potential nonprofits and help to develop Scope of Works (SOWs) reflecting the specific areas of intervention requested by local host clients.
  • Participate in preparatory conference calls with corporate volunteers and nonprofits.
  • Support corporate volunteers and nonprofits, providing advice and guidance around SOW delivery.
  • Act as an interface between Pyxera Global and nonprofit partners, including regular correspondence with Pyxera Global staff and other stakeholders to assure satisfaction on the part of the corporate volunteers and partners.
  • Participate in meetings with corporate volunteers, as requested.
  • Prepare financial and final program reports.

 

Logistics

  • Coordinate the pre workshop and workshop event(s) for corporate volunteers and host clients.
  • Prepare workshop-related guides and suggestions.
  • Act as a logistical and informational resource for corporate volunteers and troubleshoot challenges that may arise.
  • Facilitate Zoom meetings including taking attendance and management of breakout rooms.
  • Update data fields in Smartsheet.
  • Analyze skill sets of participants to perform team matching.
  • Send and update calendar invites through Outlook or Teams.
  • Create or modify program templates in Power Point and Outlook.

Requirements

  1. College degree in communications, project management, sustainability, organizational development, NGO management, or related field
  2. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience
  3. Experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteer programs.
  4. Ability to multi-task and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.
  5. Flexible and able to work in a team, as well as individually with limited supervision.
  6. Exceptional writing skills and ability to develop SOWs with limited supervision.
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  8. Fluent in English
  9. Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  10. Experience in virtual and in-person presentation skills
  11. Knowledge of one or more of the following critical topics: digital inclusion, raw materials, water, energy and climate, health and safety, environment, or education and development.
  12. Intermittent availability January through December 2024.
  13. Zoom is required and knowledge of Asana, and Airtable or Smartsheet preferred.

 

Salary

This is a part-time consultant position with an estimated timeline of 5 – 6 months with a start date at the end of January. Pay is based on past experience and the type of work required for this position. The selected program manager will be paid in the local currency of the country in which work is completed.
