POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The Monitoring and Evaluation Associate will support the monitoring, evaluation, analytical, and knowledge management needs of our growing Global Pro Bono division to ensure quality and effectiveness of program implementation. On-the-job training will be provided, and opportunities for professional development and learning are available. 

The primary job focus of the Associate position is to:  
  • Provide assistance to program staff to develop performance monitoring plans and results frameworks during program design and implementation;  
  • Create monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems, processes, and tools; and 
  • Contribute to measuring, analyzing, and reporting results.   
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Supporting staff members in setting up logical frameworks and stakeholder assessments 
  • Assisting in developing monitoring and evaluation tools for programs 
  • Developing indicators and designing surveys 
  • Building surveys in a data collection system (Clicktools) 
  • Assisting with data collection, aggregation, and analysis 
  • Assisting with research, writing, and editing

ACTIVITIES:

The Accounting Assistant Intern will be supporting the Accounting Department on various activities. This position is ideal for someone who has large open blocks in their schedule and is looking to gain Accounting experience. Duties include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Maintain vendor, program and consultant files.
  • Assist with verification and reconciliation of expense reports.
  • Perform monthly credit card reconciliation.
  • Assist with monthly closing duties.
  • Assist with sorting and reviewing procurement documents.

Global Positions

DESCRIPTION: 

PYXERA Global, an NGO based in Washington, DC  will be managing a Global Pro Bono program in Wroclaw, Poland scheduled to take place in March 2019. PYXERA Global would like to hire a part-time consultant currently residing in Wroclaw to help with program management, and provide project and logistical support to the selected team of corporate employees from November 2018-April 2019. The program will take place over the course of 4 weeks in Poland and will have several teams paired with local organizations in Wroclaw. This position will be involved with all aspects of the project. Possibility of extension based on additional corporate programs. The selected consultant’s main responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

ACTIVITIES:

  • Support the Poland Manager with development of Scopes of Work for the program that are aligned with specific areas of intervention identified by PYXERA Global and/or our client(s)
  • Capture and share success stories and lessons learned that strengthen PYXERA Global’s existing and planned programs with organizations, partners, and stakeholders through social media and other avenues as appropriate.
  • Orient new program participants upon arrival in Poland
  • Serve as logistics coordinator and as an informational resource for consultants and troubleshoot problems they may face while in Poland
