Kuralai Kunz is Pyxera Global’s vice president of Enterprise and Community Development (ECD), overseeing program design and implementation of economic and community development programs for organizations such as USAID, John Deere Foundation, World Bank, Mastercard Foundation, GE, Chevron, The Rockefeller Foundation, and others. She also spearheads ECD’s new business development initiatives that are aligned with Pyxera Global’s mission, goals, and programmatic priorities. Kuralai has experience in leading teams in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia in the design and implementation of many successful programs in supply chain development, agribusiness, entrepreneurship and innovation, and economic and community development.
Prior to joining Pyxera Global, Kuralai worked for global development projects that supported economic development and civil society in the former Soviet Union and for the Embassy of Spain in Kazakhstan, where she managed operations and supported successful market entries for Spanish companies. Kuralai holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and is fluent in Kazakh, Spanish, and Russian.
