Tim Prewitt is a global development leader with more than 30 years of experience working across humanitarian relief, economic development, global health, and market-based solutions. He has led and governed organizations operating in complex, high-risk environments, partnering with governments, corporations, foundations, and communities to deliver sustainable impact at scale.
Tim previously served as Chief Executive Officer of The Hunger Project and International Development Enterprises (iDE), two internationally recognized organizations known for innovation in systems change, agriculture, nutrition, and poverty alleviation. His leadership has spanned strategic transformation, institutional growth, and cross-sector collaboration, including work at the intersection of development, technology, and private capital.
In addition to his board service at Pyxera Global, Tim advises families, foundations, and intermediaries on high-stakes philanthropic and capital allocation decisions, particularly where governance, alignment, and long-term impact are central. He has lived in seven countries and worked across more than thirty, bringing a global perspective grounded in operational experience and board-level judgment.
