COVID-19 pushed education, health care, transportation, and society’s patience past their limits. Pyxera Global saw this situation as an opportunity to develop breakthrough solutions for multiple challenges. Working with other corporate and nonprofit leaders, the Reimagine Series’ first challenge addressed the accessibility of telehealth within community health systems.
DBC: Supporting a Black-Owned Business is an Opportunity for All-Around Growth
DBC applied to Pro Bono for Economic Equity (PBEE), an SAP volunteering program to foster economic equity for black-owned businesses and social enterprises in order to work on the “chaos” the company was experiencing with its daily operations. Williams found the involvement to be very thorough and was able to discuss his company beyond “the website version of DBC” with his three SAP consultants.

It was created by SAP in partnership with their long-time partner Pyxera Global to address the long-standing issue of social and systemic racial injustices within the United States, including in the business world.

In an effort to provide additional support specifically to Black-owned small businesses, SAP has expanded its skills-based volunteer programming to include the Pro Bono for Economic Equity program in partnership with PYXERA Global.
